পরিসংখ্যা বলে, ছেলেরা প্রতারিত হয় কোন চরিত্রহীন মেয়ের ফাঁদে পড়ে, যে তাকে নষ্ট ছাড়া আর কিছুই বানাতে পাড়ে না। আর মেয়েরা প্রতারিত হয় মেয়ে হয়ে জন্মাবার অপরাধে, যে জন্ম তাকে প্রতারণা মেনে চলা ছাড়া কিছুই শিখাতে পাড়ে না।
যে গৃহ শিক্ষক বাড়িতে পড়াতে এসে কৌশলে স্তন ছুঁয়ে চলে গেছে মেয়েদের জীবনে সেটাও এক ধরনের প্রতারণা। যে লম্পট বাসের ভীড়ে পিছনে হাত বুলিয়ে উত্তেজিত হয়েছে সেটাও প্রতারণা।
প্রতারণা করেছে ফ্ল্যাক্সিলোডের দোকানদার সুযোগ পেয়ে নাম্বার কালেক্ট করে। প্রতারণা করেছে শপিং মলের দোকানদার টায়াল রুমে গোপন ক্যামেরা সেট করে।
কেউ মেয়েদের চাকুরী দেবার কথা বলে প্রতারণা করেছে। কোন মেয়ে চাকুরী হারাবার ভয়ে প্রতারিত হয়েছে। কোন বিশ্বস্ত বন্ধু বিশ্বাস এর সুযোগ নিয়ে প্রতারণা করেছে।
শুধু এগুলাই নয়, মেয়েরা নিজের রাষ্ট্রের কাছে ও প্রতারিত হয় স্বাধীন রাষ্ট্রে মেয়েরা নিরাপত্তাহীনতায় সর্বক্ষণ ধর্ষণের ভয় নিয়ে পথ চলার নাম ও প্রতারণা।
মেয়েরা রাস্তা দিয়ে হেঁটে যাবার পথে চায়ের দোকানদার চায়ের কাপে চামচ নাড়তে নাড়তে যে বাঝে শব্দ করে বা ট্রাক ডাইভার পানের পিক ফেলতে ফেলতে যে বিকৃতি মস্তিষ্ক নিয়ে তাকিয়ে থাকে বা রাস্তা দিয়ে চলার পথে ইচ্ছাকৃত ভাবে যে ধাক্কা দেওয়া হয় সেটাও মেয়েদের জীবনে একপ্রকার প্রতারণা।
মেয়েরা শিশুকাল থেকেই এই প্রতারণা শিকার। কোন আত্নীয় অথবা পাড়াপ্রতিবেশী আদর করে গাল টানবার সময়,কিংবা আদর করে কোলে বসার সময় কৌশলে অথবা চকলেট এর লোভ দেখিয়ে সে প্রতারণা বুঝিয়ে দিয়ে যায়।
একদিন খুব কাছের মানুষটাও প্রতারণা করে চলে যায় অন্য কারো কাছে। মেয়েরা কাউয়ে সে কথা বলতে পারে না কোন গণমাধ্যমে ও না। কোন জীবনের গল্পে ও না। মেয়েরা বলতে চাইলেও বলতে পারে না, মেয়ে হয়ে জন্মাবার অপরাধে।
এই পৃথিবীতে মেয়েদের আজন্মকাল কষ্ট নিজের প্রতারিত হবার গল্পগুলো কাউকে বলতে পারে না। আর ছেলেদের কষ্ট সামান্য একটা মেয়ের প্রতারণাই সহ্য করতে পারে না।
