স্ত্রীঃ আচ্ছা টেবিলে গ্লাস আছে না, ঐটা হাতে নাও তো।

– নিলাম।

– এবার হাত থেকে ফেলে দাও।

– ফেলে দিলাম।

– এবার দেখ গ্লাসটা ভেঙে গেছে। তুমি চাইলেও ঐ টুকরো টুকরো গ্লাস খন্ডগুলো আর জোড়া লাগাতে পারবে না। লাগাতে পারলেও সেটা আর আগের মত হবে না।

ঠিক তেমনই মন ও বিশ্বাস একবার ভেঙে গেলে সেটা আর জোড়া লাগানো যায় না, কোন ভাবে লাগানো গেলেও তা আর আগের মত হয় না।

স্বামীঃ গ্লাসটা তো ভাঙ্গেনি, কারণ সেটা স্টিলের ছিল!

স্ত্রীঃ হায়রে কপাল আমার…! তুমি আর শোধরাবে না! বুঝেছি এই পাগলটাকে নিয়েই আমাকে সারা জীবন চলতে হবে!

আমি রেডি হচ্ছি, তুমি তাড়াতাড়ি এসে আমাকে নিয়ে যাও।
